Interesting chapter. I think this is the stepping stone for Aki and the path towards her career as a professional. Aiko is the second mahjong professional she encounters, but this time she works under her and Aiko seems to recognize something in Aki and pushes her forward.
It's revealed Himawari is Aiko's daughter, and she doesn't seem too happy about her mother giving Aki special attention.
It seems there will be an explosive rematch between these two, we'll see.
