On the other hand, there are some great themes of humanity triumphing over artificial intelligence...

It's an interesting chapter, to say the least. I don't know what else to say, I am pretty tired after this chapter to be honest.

Happy Saturday and weekend! Today it's another great Kirinji Gate chapter! Koizumi will be a bit delayed because of the hard redraws, but hey, if we waited 10 years for Koizumi to be completed, we can wait a few more days before we finish that legendary manga.

With the current pace of Kirinji Gate, we will probably catch up with Japan pretty soon. Then it will be either 1 month wait time for a chapter or half a year wait time for a volume...

We are thinking about that, the schedule, how to spread the chapters and similar... We will think of something. If you have any suggestions, it'd be very welcome!

Sorry for the delay with this chapter, it was really, really hard. I am not gonna whine about it, I'm glad we completed volume 2 now, but man, it took a lot of energy to complete.

Fun fact, the Mahjong Pro in the Omake Manga at the end, is the co-author of this series, and he is credited in every volume.

Yesterday we took a day off, the fatigue kicked in and we just needed to relax for a day. I was also participating in the new "Manga Bums" podcast, which is on Sonickrazy's twitch. We will do it weekly, every Saturday, so feel free to listen to two manga bums discussing manga!

Greetings people.

We present you another Kirinji Gate chapter, probably the most significant one yet. That's why it took some special attention to scanlate. I hope it will brighten up your weekend a bit, along the other chapters we diligently did this last week.

I don't want to spoil anything, but the story really picks up from here. It all gets connected to the original Tetsunaki no Kirinji. It feels as if we completed a "tutorial level" in a video game.

Anyway, we plan to keep up the current pace and catch up with Japan. Any kind of support would be very welcome at this point in time, where I, personally, am struggling a bit financially. I will just put the links upfront, even though I feel uncomfortable doing it, I have no choice.

I told you "see you soon", didn't I? 

I hope you enjoy this pace and the quality. The quality isn't suffering at all because of the pace, don't worry, every chapter goes through many, many redrafts and proofreads. I hope I will be able to keep it up, if someone can support us, it would be much appreciated.

There is a big difference in pace between Kirinji Gate and Tetsunaki no Kirinji, since the chapters are 5 pages longer. It feels a bit weird to me reading it, but not in a bad way, you just have to get used to it. The story will soon be picking up even more and I can't wait! As every night, I am tired and can't write much more.

Hi again!

Here's another Kirinji Gate. Now we can confirm, the chapters are 26 pages long from now on. Even though it was 21 at the beginning. That's why every chapter feels so tiring to work on lately.

Anyway, that doesn't change the fact that the manga is amazing. An will soon know Mahjong well enough that we don't have to explain rules all the time, and can focus on the story and the games. Anyway, I'm kinda tired, so I'll leave it at that for now.

Another day, another release. We are slowly approaching the end of volume 14 in Koizumi, and it gets me pumped that after so many years, this manga is so close to being completely scanlated.

Many groups worked on it, a lot of different people, and once it's complete, it surely has to be something to behold. Reading it will be like watching the evolution of scanlation over the years... We will see!

Hello all!

Today we jump into volume 2 of Kirinji Gate! This chapter took a bit longer, it gave me trouble since it was full of yakuza slang which you can't find in text books, and the chapters started to get longer for some reason. But I managed somehow, I hope you'll enjoy it.

You might have noticed the image resolution got lower, that's because I can't afford quality raws right now, as my company laid me off at the beginning of this year. I hope this will suffice for now, hopefully one day in the future I'll be able to redo these chapters with high-res images. If you feel like helping out in this pinch, there are some buttons to the right on the blog, would be super grateful and it would help out a lot. Not ready to come out with the full story yet, soon probably.

I hope we can keep up this pace and catch up to Japan, as the manga is still ongoing there.

I actually managed it. To do 2 chapters back to back. Surprised at myself.

Well, it's an important chapter, so it was worth it. There is an Omake at the end, I strongly recommend reading it (you better read it, you have no idea how hard it was to decipher the author's scribbles).
