So in this chapter Sanada and Inui find themselves in the old, dark building of the LDP. Koizumi was also a member of the LDP, and they were in power from 1996 to 2009. In 2009 they lost at the elections, and that's also included in this manga.
So Asou knows a way to get to Senkaku but first he has to test Sanada. I found it cool how President Tanigaki turned out to have a huge mahjong power, despite his looks.
