Tetsunaki no Kirinji Kabukichou Seiatsu Hen 43

Hi again!

I wanted to release this one tomorrow, but I'm working tomorrow so here are two releases for today.
Make sure to check out Tohai 19 below this post if you missed it!

For a change, I'll write some thoughts on the latest chapters below.

Hope you enjoy!!

"That's not what the digital style is about"

I know I haven't written in a long time about Kirinji.

I plan to make that up with a classic Kirinji Super-Deep Analysis somewhere along the road. For now, let's see what's been happening in Lyndon Lyndon lately.

Rinji returned to get revenge after that epic beating he got on his first visit to Lyndon Lyndon, and revenge he did get! He vowed to first kick their asses with their drawing-ahead house rule, and then beat them his own way. The last volume we saw Rinji tearing apart Yutori, then Inasaku and even getting a hit on Phil.

However, defeating Phil proved to be difficult. Phil is the kind of unpredictable, yet genius player, who enjoys outplaying his opponents more than the points or even the money he gets. How do you respond to that? Well, in the last chapter we saw Rinji getting real, ditching the drawing-ahead rule, and using what he learned on his journey so far to fight the strange, unknown species of Hirubayashicus Philus. Rinji is serious now, no more games, no more petty pride, he knows exactly why he's here tonight, and his motivations are greater than his opponents can probably even imagine. He even officially declared he's out for their heads and for title of the strongest in Lyndon Lyndon.

In this chapter we see the manager crumbling and losing his mind, poor guy is way out of his league. On the other hand, Inasaku realized something and managed to somehow outplay Phil. He actually got him the same way as Rinji, with a double pair wait!!!

Was it intentional? How will Phil respond? How much longer can the manager manage? What exactly happened on that mysterious night in Phil's flashback to transform him into the creature he is today?

Stay tuned, more Tetsunaki no Kirinji Kabukichou Seiatsu Hen next week!

  1. The previous chapter was hype. It's great to see Inasaku step up his game too as we're starting to see it getting to Phil.

The manager has really crumbled, and it looks like Yutori is gearing up to convince him to let him take his place. However, it will also be interesting to see if the manager will get any backstory of his own.
