There's a good chance my electricity and internet will be cut beginning next month since I can't pay the bills, so I decided to do a Kirinji marathon, working on it almost 24/7 to finish at least season one while I can, because I love this series so much.
Instead of making new posts every day, I'll just keep updating this post with new chapter links. Hope I'll make it. Also, another Koizumi is around the corner, the others are working on that. It's the end of volume 10 and there's some omake in it we'll also be doing, so look forward to that.

~Taking a break, doubt I'll make it, I'm having crippling depression attacks, it's hard to carry on when no one loves you, and I have no family. Asking the Universe and God why I'm stuck in a 3rd world trash country with no social security while I speak 4 languages fluently. I guess Fate and the Universe just want me dead. I have no regrets, no feelings, there's nothing left inside me. Can't wait to be finally free, I'm sure the forces above will grant me a painless death... I'm sure I deserve it. Light is but a farewell gift from the darkness for those those on their way to die~

Hey, ive been following this manga as soon as you began translating it, and ive found it amazing to read, learning about mahjong ( not really learning but i found it enjoyable) i hope your situation isnt as bad as it seems, while theres not much i can do but give a heartfelt comment oh, "THANKS FOR THE GREAT WORK YOUVE DONE TO THIS MANGA AND THE TIME YOU SPENT TOWARDS WORKING ON IT. I HOPE YOU DONT GIVE UP AND KEEP UP THE HARD WORK." ReplyDeleteDude please as bad as it must be there has to be a way, there has to be a better outcome for what happens, please don't let the crap get to you, just keep going at it because there might be a chance things could improve and if you go through with it you will never find out, life is a gamble where you most draws are shit, but keep going at it and eventually something is bound to come from all the crap. You can get through this, just keep standing up after the shit and go, you can't be worse than now so keep going and eventually you will get out from the shit you in.

even if you don't have family and anyone who doesn't care about you, think carefully if really killing yourself is worth it
there's no guarantee that once you do it you'll be freed from any suffering.
if most major religions are right then you might end up somewhere even more painful, trapped even.
it might be very tempting to think that once you die there's only a great big nothing or what not.
but be smart there's a 50/50 chance and a rash decision might cost you everything
if you're in a hopeless situation, then my honest advice is go to a church or something for advice and help cause honestly you seem like on your last ropes
even if you're an atheist or something at least you'll have someone to talk to, so you won't be alone, and in the end you don't have anything do lose, so why not anyway
well that's it really it might not be much,
you might even think it's incredibly stupid,
but I've seen people like you go through similar things personally and I don't want to find that while I'm sitting here reading manga, somewhere around the world you offed yourself.
I don't want to turn a blind eye towards you and pretend everything is alright, but at least I'll do what I can
Those people I've seen might not end up in a good situation (financially) but at least deep down inside, they don't feel hopeless anymore

Have you taken a look around at some of the official/licensed content producers for the anime/manga community? e.g. Crunchyroll seems to offer 'remote' positions for its translators: http://www.crunchyroll.com/jobs.

ReplyDeleteIf you keep fighting, the way to survival might become possible, or visible. If fate and the world around you are making you feel unhappy, don't settle for it; fight them with your own strength and create your own reality, one "world" where there's a place for you, and then you can alter the world around you.
Even being unhappy and sad means that there's something you want; death might be one answer to these feelings, but it's one that will permanently prevent you from being able to fight for what you want.
