Tetsunaki no Kirinji 21 & Announcement

Hello,

Today we jump into Volume 3 of Tetsunaki no Kirinji. We decided to go the extra mile and translate even the preface of the volume, which was actually the hardest job of the whole chapter. It's also kinda funny since the original preface isn't THAT accurate, but I decided to not change it and leave it like that.

I'd also like to announce that I'll be working on Kirinji solo for a while. Cleaning+Typesetting+Translating. Since the other team members have exams and are busy, and I am unemployed and don't know how much longer I have until I starve, I decided I'm gonna push it. Distracts me from suicidal thoughts as well. So expect Kirinji releases every 2-3 days for a while. Quality will stay high since the other team members will be judging my work ala Neon Genesis Evangelion SEELE meetings.

Enjoy the chapter! Thanks xGeo for cleaning and editing, thanks WhITelion for partial typesetting and other things!

Really great stuff for a first chapter of a volume. Sakiyo shows how good she really is, playing mind games with Rinji and being always a step ahead, which makes Kandata's traumatic memories of her reasonable.

I liked this chapter a lot since we got to see Sakiyo when she was younger, we heard the legendary Majin talk and give some insight on the game.

We also saw a glimpse of Arino's childhood, something traumatic involving his mother I guess?

We see some bittersweet moments between Kandata and Pandata. Ironic that this is their first interaction after many, many years and Hiroshi doesn't even know he's talking to his father.

This chapter is also foreshadowing a lot of what is to come and what the series is about. So pay attention!

See you soon for more!

  3. Hello. I just wanted to let you know, I really love what you do for us, and your efforts. Thanks a lot! I'm still a kid and i don't have a job yet so I can't donate anything either. But I really appreciate what you do.
    You're awesome!

  4. As long as you have a life, things can always get better. With suicide, they can't.

Your work is influencing people in ways neither you, nor I as the author of this post, can even imagine. Your value isn't in whether you're employed or not but who you are as a person (spoiler alert: You, like everyone else reading this, are priceless).

Thank you for your work and hang in there. ^_^

    Love,
