Ok so in this chapter we see Rinji realizing that it's real money and that the stakes are high in this game. He basically made a thousand yen accidentally in no time at all. This then affects his psyche and he gets nervous again, starting to believe in things like "flow" once more even though he clearly stated in the first chapter that it's dangerous to think like that.
He reaped what he sowed, and had to take a big hit.
I really liked this chapter because it just shows how naive Rinji is to go to a high-stakes parlor with no prior experience of gambling money on mahjong, and then bet the money he loaned on it.
How will Rinji cope with this fatal hit, will he be able to recover, or will he fall into the hell of debts?
