Hello!

Today we are back with another Kirinji Gate chapter. Feels good doing regular releases, now that I finally have some free time and motivation.

Another chapter should be out soonish. I don't want to make a schedule for Kirinji Gate as I don't want to rush chapters to meet some deadline, only thing I know is that finishing Kirinji Gate is one of my top priorities now.

Greetings!

As promised, we are back already. This is a compensation for skipping the last month of Shin Kuro, sorry again, sometimes real life just hits out of nowhere.

I want to thank Portal and the team again for the awesome quality! And I won't be writing too much again because another surprise is in the making.

Kirinji Gate 37

Heeey everyone!

Long time no see! Still alive, still kicking, honeymoon is over, back to reality.

Is it Kirinji time? Hell yeah it's Kirinji time. All the RAWs are available in digital format now, so let's come back to this beauty of a manga. 

This chapter has a big undertone of Parent-Child relationships (Like the whole series, but here more pronounced). The thing is, in Japanese you call the dealer Oya 親, and almost every line spoken in this chapter, for example something like "I can't give up on my dealer turn..." can be read as "I can't give up as a parent...".

I did put in some T/Ns there where it had the biggest impact, but otherwise it's something that is lost in translation unfortunately. But I will keep trying my best to translate the manga to make is as authentic to read in English as in Japanese.

So.. we started with Vol. 6 now, let's go, let's go, let's GO!

Hello all!

It's that time of the month, it's Shin Kurosawa time!

I don't know if it's me giving the series another slow take, and another calmer perspective which makes it just enjoyable, without laying down any brutal heavy life philosophy upon you...

Which makes you think... Is Shin Kurosawa actually a meta response by FKMT to the reactions he received from the people to the ending of the original? Hmmm, makes you think... Sometimes some messages have to be told to the audience indirectly to get a point across... But maybe not, makes you think anyway.

Good morning, afternoon or evening to everybody!

I will be honest, I read some of my old blog posts from 2016 and I kind of had an existential crisis facing my past self.

I was afraid that if I am away from scanlation for a year or two, people will give up on me, but guess what, people are so amazing that Portal has been working hard in the background, he is the man who is deserving to take this all over.

You know why? Because while I am busy with moving and dealing with legal details, the guy has made sure that this chapter looks and feels as awesome as it does. Don't you ever think you are alone.

Enough, not trying to make you cry, just enjoy :).

(Kirinji Gate.. very aware.. let me do a good job of it...)

The epic story of Kurosawa continues in the new volume and I just gotta give it to the team; this chapter looks really really really good.
