Today is a great day. We completed Koizumi Volume 14! Only 2 more volumes of this legendary manga left. The path ahead is thorny, as the redrawing and typesetting will be hell, but we will make it somehow.

As you may have noticed, the manga kinda starts slowly, assuming the reader has no idea about Mahjong like An, but as more rules are explained the more it picks up on momentum. So do we.

Good morning/afternoon/evening!

Another day, another release. We are slowly approaching the end of volume 14 in Koizumi, and it gets me pumped that after so many years, this manga is so close to being completely scanlated.

Many groups worked on it, a lot of different people, and once it's complete, it surely has to be something to behold. Reading it will be like watching the evolution of scanlation over the years... We will see!

Kirinji Gate 9

Hello all!

Today we jump into volume 2 of Kirinji Gate! This chapter took a bit longer, it gave me trouble since it was full of yakuza slang which you can't find in text books, and the chapters started to get longer for some reason. But I managed somehow, I hope you'll enjoy it.

You might have noticed the image resolution got lower, that's because I can't afford quality raws right now, as my company laid me off at the beginning of this year. I hope this will suffice for now, hopefully one day in the future I'll be able to redo these chapters with high-res images. If you feel like helping out in this pinch, there are some buttons to the right on the blog, would be super grateful and it would help out a lot. Not ready to come out with the full story yet, soon probably.

I hope we can keep up this pace and catch up to Japan, as the manga is still ongoing there.

Seriously though, it has to do something with me getting laid off from my job, that new button under "Links" up right on the blog etc., you can figure out the rest, but I will elaborate on it further in the next days.

For now, let's jump into the final match of the Legendary Legend of Koizumi! I'm getting excited!

Yooo people!

I actually managed it. To do 2 chapters back to back. Surprised at myself.

Well, it's an important chapter, so it was worth it. There is an Omake at the end, I strongly recommend reading it (you better read it, you have no idea how hard it was to decipher the author's scribbles).

Besides that, the chapter itself is also unusally long. And of course, it's the end of Volume 1. In other news, after the suggestion of some friends, I created a Patreon, link to that is on the right side, up under "Links". More on that with the next release. Which will be soon ;) .
